Relocating to another country can be a daunting experience but thanks to founding directors, Allan and Maria Pitman, creating a new life in Australia has never been easier. Having lived and worked in Australia, Asia, Europe and the USA during the past 35 years, they understand the challenges and rewards that can come from changing careers and countries.

While we were in Cochin early this year, Allan and Maria attended the wedding of Manju Mary Matthew and Jo Jo George at St Joseph Catholic Church Kerala. Manju came to Australia last year and now works in Adelaide, SA. She met Jo Jo on the Internet and it was “love at first sight”.
The colourful ceremony was beautiful to watch and we had a wonderful time with the bride and groom’s family and friends. Jo Jo will soon move to Adelaide to be with wife and continue his hospitality studies in Queensland.

It comes as no surprise to us Aussies but Australia has just been ranked #2 in the world for quality of life! The US slipped to 13 while Britain was steady at 21.
The survey, conducted by the United Nations, looked at 182 countries and what they had to offer in terms of life expectancy, education, income and low levels of crime. In fact, the author of the report, Jeni Klugman, predicts that Australia could pip Norway for the top spot next year.
One key factor to Australia’s immigration success was attributed to job availability, especially in the area or nursing where skilled staff is highly sought after.
What makes Australia so special is the relaxed, laid-back pace – even in the big cities – as well as the friendly attitude of its people. Beautiful weather, clean, uncluttered beaches, fresh food and a stunning landscape combine to create a living environment envied the world over.
