Nursing Careers AustraliaNursing Australia Careers, we recruit, place and support Indian nurses in nursing positions throughout Australia.

What salary can I earn?

Your Salary will vary by:

  • State
  • Facility
  • Private or Public Ownership
  • Shift Schedule
  1. The table below are the pay rates for nurses in one state (NSW), and one type of facility (Aged Care).
  2. If the rate of pay is lower in a state, usually this is compensated by a lower cost of living in that state.
  3. It is expected that future increases in salary for nurses, will increase at a rate faster than inflation.
  4. This is based on the reality that nurses are in short supply in Australia for the foreseeable future.
  5. The allowances paid can vary according to your shift schedule.
  6. In the first 6 months of employment it is unlikely that you will be working evenings or weekends.
  7. You will be paid the base salary, until management has confidence in your ability to work independently.
